A WHAT?!
My son Joseph was sick with a stomach virus recently; nausea and a lot of throwing up. No fever though. While he was ill he called me over to where I had him set up on the couch, resting. He looked rather concerned.
He said, “Dad, I have a duck in my stomach!”
“A what?” I asked surprised.
With a totally serious face he said again, “I have a duck in my stomach. Listen, it’s going quaaaack.”
I put my ear down close to his belly and sure enough I heard his upset stomach gurgling and it did kind of sound like a duck.
“SEE!”
I then explained to him what the sounds were and afterward he was very relieved.
Cute! I bet my kids would think that too lol. Hope he’s feeling better & no one else got sick. I know at our house if one goes down sick we all do.
