Out of sight = out of danger. I'm not sure if I may have done my Aunt and Uncle a disservice at Christmas by making their Grandchildren aware of what the piano actually is by playing it. Despite the fact that it's woefully out of tune, I had many requests for Christmas carols from young and old and was accompanied by some very enthusiastic little people the youngest of whom was 16 months. It doesn't feel like Christmas for me unless I've played some seasonal music. ^.^ That would have been quite a nasty surprise! Out of sight = out of danger.
